The Perfect wedding where nothing goes wrong - "Tell em theyre dreamin" (The Castle).

Probably the best thing to do if your worried sick that something will go wrong is to expect that some things will not always go quite as planned.

By accepting this you can get on and plan for the things that you can control for such as headaches and laddered stockings.

Here are some ideas for a Wedding emergency kit...for the bride...the groom isn't stressing.

Below is a checklist of the essential items for your Emergency Kit, to ensure peace of mind and the minimum of stress on your Big Day!

  • A small Sewing Kit consisting of pins, buttons, thread the colour of your gown,
    mini scissors,
safety pins (for everything and anything),
    sewing tape (for emergency hemming),
two extra pairs of your Wedding stockings,
    dressmakers chalk (for emergency coverups),
    superglue (when all else fails!)

  • Headache pills,
    bandaids,
    tampons (God Forbid),
    eyedrops,
    lip-chap,
any Prescription medication you may take

  • A Mini Beauty Kit consisting of face powder, lipstick, mascara, hair pins, purse size hairspray, comb, clear nail polish (for ladders in stockings), purse size fragrance

  • A mobile phone and a complete list of Phone Contacts of everyone involved in the Big Day

  • A detailed map of directions to the Church, just in case your driver gets lost (and it DOES happen, believe us!)
